CHP's Aydın reacts to the government's 'cancellation of 30 Euro customs exemption': Do not crush our youth
With a Presidential decree published in the Official Gazette, the 30 Euro customs exemption applied to overseas purchases has been abolished. While tax rates for goods brought by passengers have been increased, customs declarations and additional service fees will now be paid even for the lowest-value orders. CHP's Aydın reacted sharply to this decision.

Aydın stated, "Giant global companiesrevitalized by massive taxincentives do not crush our youth for the sake of companies and import monopolies," he said.Aydın, in a written statement regarding the matter,
stated thatyoung peopleare innovatingwith limited resources and producing their own robots,and pointed out that the gap between the world and Turkeynoted that they are exerting great energy toclose the technological gap.

Turkish youth are alsofollowing this revolutionvery closely,and theyaretransferringthe world's knowledge to our country, with greatappetite theylearn, produce, and bring their ideas to life.
Youth cinnovating with limited means, producing their own robots, and exerting great energy to close thetechnological gap between us and the world.However, the parts required for this productionmust,like the rest of the world, be brought fromabroad.
Individual purchases made from abroad are completelyImposing customs duties means telling many young people whodevelop technology at home,'do not produce, go and buythe final product at an exorbitant price'.Purchasing power is alreadyWhen our purchasing power is weak,it means isolating the Turkish youthfrom the technology revolution.The hardware and components
