CHP Deputy Chairman Deniz Yavuzyılmaz supported the statements made by CHP Chairman Özgür Özel in the Turkish Grand National Assembly regarding an agreement with the US over rare earth elements by sharing reports on his account.

Yavuzyılmaz shared the Eti Maden Operations Court of Accounts Audit Report and stated, "It is understood that the AKP's goal is not to enrich our national wealth of rare earth elements within our country, but to hand over these priceless minerals to the US in ore form at a cheap price. Because as of 2025, there is still no progress regarding the installation of industrial facilities!"

Yavuzyılmaz said, "According to the Eti Maden Operations Court of Accounts Audit Report, we have determined that the AKP has neglected the process of establishing industrial facilities that would enable the production of Rare Earth Elements in Beylikova, Eskişehir, without being dependent on foreign sources."
