CHP Spokesperson Yücel wrote the following on his X account regarding the YSK's decision to reject the request to halt his party's Istanbul Ordinary Provincial Congress:
"Those who disrupt the scales of justice will one day surely be held accountable before the law"
"The Istanbul 45th Civil Court of First Instance, which previously tried to halt the CHP Istanbul Extraordinary Provincial Congress, wanted to halt our party's ordinary Istanbul Provincial Congress this time as well, but the YSK decided to reject this unlawful request.
We remind you once again; the Republican People's Party is not a party that can be intimidated or suppressed by politicized judicial decisions.
An independent and impartial judiciary is not a power that will take sides for or against political parties! The sole purpose of the judiciary is to ensure justice. Those who disrupt the scales of justice will one day surely be held accountable before the law."
