CHP Spokesperson Deniz Yücel reacted to the launch of an investigation into CHP Chairman Özgür Özel, stating, "Open as many investigations as you want; our nation will give you the harshest response."
In a statement on his social media account, Yücel said, "You will insult us, and we will remain silent, is that it? You will smear the CHP and CHP politicians, and we will stand by, is that it?
You will act with cruelty, and we will not speak out against this oppression, is that it? If you tell us what we do not deserve, you will hear what you deserve! By opening an investigation into our Chairman Özgür Özel, you can neither weaken our struggle nor prevent your departure from power!
Open as many investigations as you want, use as much public power as you want; when the ballot box arrives, our nation will give you the harshest response to all of this!"
