CHP shares video following TÜİK scandal: 'The one that doesn't upset Tayyip...'

The item prices that the Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK) had been keeping like a secret, having stopped disclosing the prices of items used for calculation since April 2022, have been revealed.

According to TÜİK, a doctor's examination is calculated at 34 TL, and rent is calculated at 6 thousand TL.

While reactions to the TÜİK scandal poured in, a video post came from the official social media account of the CHP Youth Branches.

According to the post made by the CHP Youth Branches, the following information was provided regarding the details of the announced prices:

"Specialist doctor examination 34 liras. Dormitory fee 457 liras. Rent 5,845 liras. White cheese 147 liras. Egg 2.5 liras."

Following these prices, a video post featuring Erdoğan was shared by the CHP Youth Branches. The note, "The Statistical Institute that doesn't upset Tayyip does not hesitate to upset 86 million!" was added to the post.
