CHP's Yavuzyılmaz to Minister Uraloğlu: 'Put down the dynamite in your hand'; it is attempted murder

CHP's Yavuzyılmaz addressed Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Abdulkadir Uraloğlu, calling for an immediate halt to blasting operations being conducted near apartment buildings as part of the Nakkaş–Başakşehir section of the Northern Marmara Motorway, emphasizing that the area is a high-risk earthquake zone.

HIGH-RISK EARTHQUAKE ZONE

Yavuzyılmaz addressed Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Abdulkadir Uraloğlu, stating that blasting is being carried out near apartment buildings as part of the Nakkaş–Başakşehir section of the Northern Marmara Motorway, noting that the area in question coincides with the Kanal Istanbul route and the Sazlıdere Dam vicinity, and is also a high-risk earthquake zone, as he issued a call to "stop it."

In a post on his social media account, Yavuzyılmaz wrote:

“Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Abdülkadir Uraloğlu, put down the dynamite in your hand immediately!

We have determined that blasting is being carried out near apartment buildings during the road construction of the Nakkaş-Başakşehir section of the Northern Marmara Motorway.

The location is the Kanal Istanbul route and the Sazlıdere Dam region. It is also a high-risk earthquake zone!

If they had no shame, they would tie dynamite to the columns of the buildings and blow them up!

This is called attempted murder!

Stop this blasting scandal immediately!”
