Criminal complaint from CHP Youth Branches for Zeren Ertaş: 'We will file complaints against everyone at fault'
The CHP Youth Branches announced that they will file a criminal complaint regarding the elevator accident at a KYK dormitory in Aydın.
It has been reported that the CHP Youth Branches will file a criminal complaint against those responsible for the death of a student following the fall of a malfunctioning elevator at the Credit and Dormitories General Directorate (KYK) Güzelhisar Girls' Dormitory in Aydın.
According to the statement made by the CHP, Youth Branches Chairman Gençosman Killik noted that the accident in Aydın, where a student lost her life after the elevator at the KYK Güzelhisar Girls' Dormitory malfunctioned and fell, has saddened everyone.
Stating that students had applied to the dormitory administration regarding the broken elevators and had written to the Ministry and the Credit and Dormitories General Directorate via social media, Killik said, "We have prepared our criminal complaint. We will file complaints against everyone who had a fault in this incident, primarily the dormitory manager, the company responsible for the maintenance of the elevators, the KYK General Directorate, and the Ministry officials. For this tragic event to be the last, those responsible must be punished in the most severe way possible."
