CHP Youth Branches take action against 'İmamoğlu ban'
The Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, in a new directive sent to the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (İBB), has banned the use of content featuring the photo, video, and voice of Ekrem İmamoğlu on subways, metrobus lines, buses, and ferries. The CHP Youth Branches have taken action against this ban.
The Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office had ordered the removal of posters and banners featuring İBB Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu in a letter sent to the Istanbul Provincial Police Department in March. In a new directive sent to the İBB in recent days, the Prosecutor's Office banned the use of content containing İmamoğlu's photo, video, and voice on subways, metrobus lines, buses, and ferries.
STRIKING CAMPAIGN FROM THE YOUTH BRANCHES
Following the ban on İmamoğlu's posters, videos, and voice across Istanbul, the CHP Youth Branches launched the “İmamoğlu Everywhere” campaign, which includes t-shirts, flags, badges, and stickers featuring images of İmamoğlu.
