CHP's first response to Lütfü Savaş's 'lawsuit to cancel the party congress': 'Those who board the AKP bus'
CHP Hatay Provincial Chair Hakan Tiryaki made a statement on his social media account regarding former Hatay Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Lütfü Savaş filing a lawsuit to cancel the CHP Congress.
A response has come to former Hatay Mayor Lütfü Savaş, who filed a lawsuit to cancel the CHP's ordinary congress where the party's Chairman was changed.
"The fate of those who board the AKP bus is a cliff," said CHP Hatay Provincial Chair Hakan Tiryaki, adding, "To buy into baseless allegations regarding our congress is, to put it mildly, despicable."
Tiryaki used the following expressions in his post:
“While we were experiencing the joy of the historic success achieved 47 years later in the first elections following our 38th Ordinary Congress, where the will for change emerged and our delegates listened to the voice of the streets, we were also experiencing the sadness of losing the Hatay Metropolitan Municipality elections, one of the cities most in need of social municipalism.
We waited in front of election boards for days to prevent the government's election manipulation, we identified that they had dead voters cast ballots, and we went all the way to the Supreme Election Council.
However, we could not defeat the government, which has set its sights on the rent of Hatay.
"TO PUT IT MILDLY, IT IS DESPICABLE"
After a process in which our members and provincial-district administrators worked with all their might, we see today that the person who was our party's mayoral candidate at that time is attacking our party with the rhetoric of the government.
You will be a mayoral candidate again after the congress, you will contort yourself to resolve the doubts about you, when you lose the election you will look for the fault in others rather than yourself, and when you realize your era is over, you will knowingly become a tool for the claims put forward about the Republican People's Party.
I state this clearly and plainly: To buy into the baseless allegations regarding our 38th Ordinary Congress, which the AKP put forward to change the country's agenda and overshadow our march to power, is, to put it mildly, despicable and dishonorable.
Our party's forehead is clear, and its head is held high.
Our only goal is to bring the early election ballot box before our people and destroy this dirty order they have established. Finally, let it not be forgotten that the fate of those who board the AKP bus is a cliff.”
