CHP's Yavuzyılmaz warns 'Ankara Ring Road will become toll road': It is a robbery plan

Yavuzyılmaz, who has made documented statements regarding the AKP government's plans to privatize roads, has now announced the government's 'privatization' plan for the Ankara Ring Road.

Known for his documented posts, CHP's Yavuzyılmaz continues to inform citizens about the 'new road costs' awaiting them.

We have determined that the privatization of the Ankara Ring Road, which is currently operated free of charge by the General Directorate of Highways, is planned for 25 years.

Based on the price tariffs of Build-Operate-Transfer model highways;

I am sharing the vehicle toll tariff that will be applied on the Ankara Ring Road after it is privatized

Istanbul Junction-İvedik Junction: 39 TL

İvedik Jct.-Esenboğa Jct.: 40 TL

Esenboğa Jct.-Samsun Jct.: 56 TL

Samsun Jct.-Yakupabdal Jct.: 29 TL

Yakupabdal Jct.-Konya Jct.: 60 TL

Konya Jct.-Eskişehir Jct.: 81 TL

Eskişehir Jct.-Ayaş Jct.: 48 TL

A total of 120 km including connecting roads

Number of vehicle crossings on the Ankara Ring Road in 2025: 189 million 350 thousand

If the privatization of the Ankara Ring Road, which was also in the 2010 privatization package, takes place as of 2026

When the company operates these highways with the average vehicle crossing price per kilometer of highways built with the Build-Operate-Transfer model;

The toll the company will collect from citizens in one year will be at least 7 billion 130 million Lira

The amount that will enter the companies' coffers during the 25-year privatization process: 178 billion Lira

At the current exchange rate, at least 4 billion Dollars

This is not called a privatization plan, it is a robbery plan!

This is called the repeated robbery of citizens on roads for which they have already paid the cost many times over with their taxes!
