Christmas mass held at St. Pierre Church in Hatay
Christians wishing to celebrate Christmas in Hatay held their service at St. Pierre Church this year instead of the Antakya Orthodox Church, which was destroyed in the February 6 earthquakes. Wishes for peace and tranquility were shared during the mass.

The mass took place at St. Pierre Church in place of the Antakya Orthodox Church, which was destroyed in the February 6, 2023, earthquakes centered in Kahramanmaraş.

The mass was led by Father Pavlus Orduluoğlu, Vicar of the Antioch Greek Orthodox Patriarchate, Antakya Orthodox Church spiritual leaders Jan Dellüller and Dimitri Doğum, and Fadi Hurigil, President of the Antakya Orthodox Church Foundation.
Speaking during the service, Hurigil wished for the Christmas holiday to bring peace, tranquility, and happiness to the entire world.
Following the mass, which included prayers and hymns, a cake was cut.
