The Ministry of National Defense shared information on its social media account regarding those who visited Anıtkabir on November 10, Atatürk Commemoration Day.
The statement reported that 1 million 92 thousand 365 people visited Anıtkabir on November 10, noting that this figure has been recorded as the highest number of visits to Anıtkabir on any November 10 to date.
The statement included the expression, "We commemorate the Founder of our Republic, Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, once again with mercy, gratitude, and respect on the 86th anniversary of his passing."
Meanwhile, according to information on the official website of the Anıtkabir Command, 229 thousand 426 people visited Anıtkabir in January, 226 thousand 403 in February, 223 thousand 689 in March, 513 thousand 605 in April, 577 thousand 623 in May, 345 thousand 753 in June, 388 thousand 418 in July, 728 thousand 761 in August, 386 thousand 751 in September, and 1 million 146 thousand 77 in October of this year.
