Claim regarding CHP's Burcu Köksal: Erdoğan to pin party badge on that date
A new claim has emerged regarding CHP's Afyonkarahisar Mayor Burcu Köksal, who has been the subject of rumors that she will join the AKP.
It has been claimed that CHP's Afyonkarahisar Mayor Burcu Köksal and Keçiören Mayor Mesut Özarslan, who resigned from the CHP, will join the AKP at the AKP Extended Provincial Chairs Meeting to be held on Tuesday.
It was alleged that President Erdoğan has met with Köksal.
TGRT Haber Ankara Representative Fatih Atik wrote in a social media post that President and AKP Chairman Recep Tayyip Erdoğan met with Burcu Köksal in Ankara and that Köksal will join the AKP.
Stating that the accession will take place at the AKP Extended Provincial Chairs Meeting, Atik also noted that Keçiören Mayor Mesut Özarslan, who resigned from the CHP, will join the AKP on the same day.
