Claim that Tolga Şardan was 'transferred to Istanbul'
It is alleged that the imprisoned journalist Tolga Şardan was transferred to Istanbul by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office.

T24 columnist and journalist Tolga Şardan was detained on the grounds of his article titled, "What is in the 'judiciary report' that the MIT submitted to the Presidency?"
After giving his statement to the prosecutor via SEGBIS at the Ankara Courthouse, Şardan was referred to the criminal judgeship of peace with a request for his arrest, and was subsequently arrested following his interrogation by the judge.

Among the allegations is that Tolga Şardan's lawyers visited him today, and while they were waiting to meet with him, the deputy prison warden told Refik Ali Uçarcı that Tolga Şardan had been 'transferred to Istanbul upon the instruction of the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office.'
No statement has yet been made by any official authority regarding the claim.
