A stationer on social media claimed that a price hike for bread had been implemented and that they had printed the new price tags, sharing the updated figures.
Accordingly, the price of a 200-gram loaf of bread in Istanbul has become 12.50 TL, while the price per kilogram is 62.50 TL.
WILL BE EFFECTIVE AS OF JANUARY 1, 2025
The increased tariff applied to bread will take effect as of January 1, 2025.
It was noted that the increased tariff was determined by the Union of Chambers of Tradesmen and Craftsmen on November 5 and was approved as of December 27.
