Claims of trustees for 2 more municipalities after Esenyurt!

CHP's Esenyurt Mayor Ahmet Özer was arrested on allegations of being a "member of the PKK/KCK armed terrorist organization."

Following Özer's arrest, Istanbul Deputy Governor Can Aksoy was appointed as a trustee to the Esenyurt Municipality.

Sözcü TV Main News Bulletin anchor Fatih Portakal emphasized that the government could organize new operations.

"COULD THE TARGET BE İMAMOĞLU?"

Reminding of MHP leader Devlet Bahçeli's call for terrorist leader Abdullah Öcalan, Portakal asked, "You called Abdullah Öcalan to Parliament just 15 days ago, some were almost going to applaud, and today, at the point we have reached, you are conducting an operation. You conduct this operation yesterday and arrest him. You appoint the trustee the next morning. When we look at the bigger picture, where will the target go? Could the target be Ekrem İmamoğlu?"

Drawing attention to the statement made by MHP's İsmet Büyükataman regarding the Akdeniz and Toroslar municipalities, Portakal said, "There is nothing stopping them. They have the power to do anything. If they enter Akdeniz and Toroslar tomorrow, who can do what? They will say 'let's wait for the court's decision,' it's that simple... What is the current operation in their minds? I think they will escalate it even further. This could also extend to the DEM Party."

"HOW DID THAT DOCUMENT GET INTO A HIGH-SECURITY PRISON?"

Fatih Portakal continued as follows:

"It says 'in the content of the document obtained in the high-security closed penal execution institution regarding Ahmet Özer'...

My friend, how can you smuggle a document into a high-security prison? They found a document from a prisoner in this prison, who is this prisoner? You can also produce this document, one cannot trust you either...

WHAT DID MHP'S BÜYÜKATAMAN SAY?

After Ahmet Özer was detained, MHP's İsmet Büyükataman drew attention to the 'City Consensus' made by the CHP and DEM Party in the March 31 Local Elections in a post on his social media account and targeted the Akdeniz and Toroslar municipalities.

Büyükataman had used the following expressions in his post:

"Esenyurt Mayor Ahmet Özer, who was nominated as a joint candidate in Esenyurt by the CHP and DEM within the scope of Özgür Özel's 'CITY CONSENSUS', was detained this morning as part of an investigation into membership in a terrorist organization, following an operation carried out by counter-terrorism teams.

According to initial information, many contacts of Ahmet Özer with PKK terrorist organization members have been detected over a 10-year period.

It has become evident that the CHP has a concrete link with the terrorist organization and that it has handed over municipalities to the terrorists in Qandil through the alliance established by Özgür Özel under the name of 'City Consensus'.

It has once again been revealed how justified our Chairman Mr. Devlet Bahçeli's warnings were before the local elections that the 'City Consensus' was essentially a 'PKK Alliance'.

Thank God, our state is doing what is necessary, and our fight against terrorism continues at full speed. Turkey's firm stance in the fight against terrorism disrupts the games of Turkey's enemies who use terrorism as a pawn.

In this context, the Akdeniz and Toroslar Municipalities, won through the CHP-DEM partnership under the name of 'City Consensus', and the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality council members given as a quota to the DEM Party by İmamoğlu should be examined, and the way for municipalities to be handed over to the terrorist organization should be closed."
