Following the death of Mattia Ahmet Minguzzi, who was killed in a knife attack in Istanbul's Kadıköy district on January 24, 2025, it has emerged that the name "Minguzzi" was registered as a trademark on April 11, 2025, according to the records of the Turkish Patent and Trademark Office.
According to information on the patent inquiry page, the "Minguzzi" brand was registered under the categories of leather goods, clothing, and commercial services.
It was learned that the family filed an objection last month regarding this process and that it is currently under evaluation.
On the other hand, it has also been alleged that there are preparations for product sales, opening a restaurant, and film production under the name "Minguzzi".
