ClubHouse Bebek owner Menderes Utku arrested
As part of an investigation into "narcotics" and "prostitution" conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, a raid was carried out yesterday on "ClubHouse Bebek" in Beşiktaş by approximately 100 narcotics police officers.
Within the scope of the operation, actor and businessman Menderes Utku, the owner of ClubHouse Bebek, was taken into custody.
Menderes Utku was referred to the Istanbul Courthouse today. After giving his statement to the prosecutor's office, Utku was referred to the on-duty Criminal Court of Peace with a request for his arrest.
Brought before the Criminal Court of Peace, Menderes Utku was arrested as part of the investigation.
OPERATION WITH 100 POLICE OFFICERS AND 5 K-9 UNITS
It was alleged that approximately 100 police officers and 5 K-9 search dogs participated in the operation organized by the Narcotics Crimes Investigation Branch teams.
During the searches conducted at the venue during the operation, no criminal elements were found.
Despite this, the venue's owner, Menderes Utku, had been taken into custody.
