A collapse occurred during the construction of a retaining wall at a residential construction site in Başakşehir, Istanbul. Two workers were trapped under the soil in the incident.
According to the information obtained, the collapse took place at the Zerafet Konakları construction site in Şamlar Neighborhood. During the work, two workers named Tolga Yahşi and Ferdi Yahşi were trapped under the collapse.
Upon notification, fire, search and rescue, and medical teams were dispatched to the area. With the initial efforts of the teams, Tolga Yahşi was pulled from under the soil and taken to the hospital.
It was learned that the other worker trapped under the collapse, 25-year-old Ferdi Yahşi, lost his life.
