Collapse in Trabzon: Identities of workers who lost their lives identified
A collapse occurred during drinking water transmission line work in the Balaban neighborhood of Trabzon's Hayrat district. The lifeless bodies of 3 workers, identified as Mehmet Sultan Allahverdi, İbrahim Keskin, and Dinçer Uzunosmanoğlu, who were trapped under the soil during the collapse, have been recovered.
According to the information received, a collapse occurred at around 13:30 in the district's Balaban neighborhood during drinking water transmission line work.
AFAD teams and fire department crews launched an operation to rescue the 3 workers employed by the contractor firm who were trapped under the collapse.
Following the efforts, the lifeless bodies of the 3 workers were recovered.
It was learned that the names of the workers who lost their lives were Mehmet Sultan Allahverdi, İbrahim Keskin, and Dinçer Uzunosmanoğlu.
On the other hand, it was alleged that the accident, which occurred as a result of water being supplied for testing purposes to the newly constructed drinking water network line in the Balaban Merkez neighborhood, caused the 3 workers to be trapped under the soil due to a landslide triggered by pressurized water.
