Communications Director Fahrettin Altun, in a post on his X social media account, stated, "The negative atmosphere being created in public opinion regarding Syrian refugees for some time now and the provocations causing an increase in tension are being closely monitored.
Efforts by certain circles, led by anti-Turkey elements, to disrupt the peace of our country through provocative activities aimed at testing public order will not achieve their goal, thanks to the dedicated work of all elements of our state."

To support these efforts, we kindly request that our citizens act sensitively by not giving credence to baseless news, as always, by considering the dimension and possibility of disinformation when sharing content, and by relying only on credible sources, primarily our official authorities," it said.
