Communications Director Altun: Our fight will continue until the terror threat against our country ends
Presidency Communications Director Fahrettin Altun stated, "Our fight will continue uninterrupted, both within and outside our borders, until the terror threat against our country is eliminated."
In a written statement, Altun wished God's mercy upon those who were martyred in the terror attack on the Kahramankazan campus of Turkish Aerospace Industries (TUSAŞ) and wished a speedy recovery to the wounded.
Stating that the necessary investigations and efforts following the vile attack are being carried out meticulously by the relevant institutions, Altun noted the following:
"We would like to remind once again that social media platforms must absolutely not allow content that paves the way for terror propaganda. It is important for these platforms to adopt a more responsible approach in order to protect the peace and security of society.
Likewise, the media must also ensure that the public is accurately informed by reporting on terrorism carefully and must be sensitive against terror propaganda. This sense of responsibility will play a critical role in preventing the spread of terrorism.
As in all similar processes, we strongly request that our citizens remain sensitive to disinformation activities during this process and rely only on information provided by official sources. Our fight will continue uninterrupted, both within and outside our borders, until the terror threat against our country is eliminated."
