The Competition Authority has decided to impose a total administrative fine of approximately 13 million liras on Maçkolik İnternet Hizmetleri AŞ due to two separate violations.

ABUSE OF DOMINANT POSITION IN THE SECTOR
The Competition Authority launched an investigation into Maçkolik to determine whether it had violated the Law on the Protection of Competition. It was determined that the company violated the Law by imposing customer restrictions on advertising agencies within the scope of its advertising and service sales contracts. Due to this violation, the company was fined 7 million 422 thousand 998 liras.
Furthermore, the statement indicated that Maçkolik abused its dominant position by discriminating against companies operating in the online fixed-odds betting sector within the online display advertising and referral services market. For this reason, it was reported that an additional administrative fine of 5 million 567 thousand 248 liras was imposed on the company.
