Competition Board grants approval: Warner Bros, Disney, and Fox to establish a sports channel in Turkey
The Competition Board has decided to authorize the establishment of a new, fully functional joint venture by Warner Bros. Discovery, Inc., The Walt Disney Company, and Fox Corporation as a sports-focused virtual multichannel video programming distributor.
The Competition Board has concluded several acquisition and joint venture applications. According to the announcement on the Competition Authority's website, the Board has authorized the establishment of a new joint venture named Taurus Savunma Sanayi Anonim Şirketi by Zirve Holding Anonim Şirketi, Senta Madencilik Sanayi ve Ticaret Anonim Şirketi, and Defence Export to operate in the defense, security, and related arms sectors.

The acquisition of sole control of Innomotics GmbH and Innomotics LLC by KPS Capital Partners, LP has been approved.
The acquisition of joint control of Terminale GNL Adriatico S.r.l., currently under the joint control of ExxonMobil Italiana Gas S.r.l. and Qatar Terminal Limited, by Snam S.p.A and VTTI B.V. has been deemed appropriate.
The acquisition of joint control of the software integration business unit of Synopsys Inc. by Francisco Partners Management, L.P. and Clearlake Capital Group, L.P. has been authorized.
The establishment of a new, fully functional joint venture by Warner Bros. Discovery, Inc., The Walt Disney Company, and Fox Corporation as a sports-focused virtual multichannel video programming distributor has been approved.
