Condolence message from İmamoğlu for 'Ahmet Uğurlu'
Turkish cinema and theater artist Ahmet Uğurlu has passed away. Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu has published a message of condolence for the late Uğurlu.
The news of the passing of actor Ahmet Uğurlu, who was etched in memories with unforgettable films such as 'Tabutta Rövaşata' (Somersault in a Coffin) and 'Memleket Meselesi' (A Matter of the Homeland), was shared by famous comedian Cem Yılmaz.
Yılmaz announced the sad news with the following words: "May the soul of our esteemed elder Ahmet Uğurlu, the uncle of my childhood friends Taner and Tuna, and the older brother of our brother Mustafa, rest in peace. I wish patience to his family and all his loved ones... He was our youth hero, may he rest in peace."
Following Uğurlu's passing, Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (İBB) Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu also published a message of condolence.
In his post on his social media account, İmamoğlu stated: "I wish God's mercy upon master theater, cinema, and television actor Ahmet Uğurlu, whose passing we learned of with sadness; I extend my condolences to his family, friends, and our art community."
