IPA President Buğra Gökce, who was arrested during operations targeting the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (İBB), married Filiz Kahveci at Silivri Prison, where he is being held.

CHP Chairman Özgür Özel served as the couple's witness.

Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu, who is also imprisoned at Silivri Prison, congratulated his colleague Gökce on his marriage.

In a post on his X account, İmamoğlu stated the following:
