Constitutional Court President Kadir Özkaya's 4-year-old grandson was seriously injured in Bursa after falling from a second-story window at his grandmother's house.
Yesterday evening, in the Mahmut Çelebi neighborhood of İznik district, Kadir Özkaya, the grandson who shares the same name as Constitutional Court President Kadir Özkaya, lost his balance while playing in front of a window at his grandmother Pembe T.'s home and fell from the second floor.
Upon the grandmother's report after seeing her grandson fall, medical teams were dispatched to the scene.
The child was taken by ambulance to İznik State Hospital for initial intervention and was subsequently transferred to Bursa City Hospital, where he underwent surgery.
The child, who suffered a brain hemorrhage and is continuing treatment in the intensive care unit, remains in critical condition. It was learned that Constitutional Court President Kadir Özkaya traveled to Bursa to visit his grandson.
