Controversial remarks from German politician about the late Bitmez: 'After demanding an answer from God...'

Saadet Party Kocaeli Deputy Hasan Bitmez suffered a heart attack after delivering a speech in which he addressed Israel's attacks on Palestine and the government's position on the war. Bitmez, who was rushed to the hospital, could not be saved despite all interventions. 

During his speech, Bitmez addressed the ruling party deputies, stating, "Even if you escape the wrath of history, you will not be able to escape the wrath of God!"

GERMAN POLITICIAN TARGETS BITMEZ

According to a report in Artı49; Tobias Huch, a former deputy of the Liberal Free Democratic Party and one of the former directors of the Young Liberals Association, shared the footage of the Turkish deputy and used expressions that sparked controversy.

Huch shared the moments when Deputy Hasan Bitmez suffered a heart attack on his personal X account with the note, "In the Turkish Parliament, anti-Semitic, Islamist deputy Hasan Bitmez is giving a speech calling for God's wrath against Israel."

Huch's remarks, continuing with "Seconds after demanding an answer from God, he suffered a heart attack," sparked debate among social media users.

It is known that the 42-year-old German politician, who is the author of a book titled "Kurdistan," has carried out a series of activities with the YPG in Syria and has participated as a speaker in numerous meetings organized in Turkey by the Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP), as it was formerly known.

SENTENCED TO PRISON IN GERMANY

Reports in the German press state that Huch has been living outside the country due to being tried on charges of "tax evasion" and subsequently sentenced to prison.
