Controversial remarks from Kılıçdaroğlu regarding retirees! 'Well then, suffer, my brother!'
Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, the 7th Chairman of the CHP, used controversial language regarding retirees during a live broadcast. Criticizing retirees over pension salaries, Kılıçdaroğlu stated, "When I said, 'Give retirees two bonus salaries,' a group of retirees went to the PTT and sent me a telegram saying, 'We don't want it.' Well then, suffer, my brother."
Following the May elections, the former chairman of the CHP, Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, who lost the chairmanship election at the 38th Ordinary Congress of the CHP to the 'change-maker' candidate Özgür Özel, made statements regarding the current agenda on KRT TV.
Kılıçdaroğlu, who also addressed pension salaries in his agenda, made remarks regarding retirees that did not go unnoticed.

Kılıçdaroğlu used the following expressions: "Nobody should take offense, but the retiree deserves a bit of this. When I said, 'Give retirees two bonus salaries,' a group of retirees went to the PTT and sent me a telegram saying, 'We don't want it.' Well then, suffer, my brother. If you are content with misery and poverty, why are you making demands for rights?"

Former CHP Chairman Kılıçdaroğlu also said, "If you talk about the 'gang of five,' they won't make you president. Well, let them not! The robbed nation decided this. It says, 'I am content with being robbed.'"
