Convention day at İYİ Party: Müsavat Dervişoğlu re-elected as chairman

At the İYİ Party's 4th Ordinary Convention held in Ankara, incumbent Müsavat Dervişoğlu ran as the sole candidate for the chairmanship. It was noted that Founding Chairwoman Meral Akşener did not attend the event despite being invited. In his speech at the convention, Dervişoğlu criticized MHP leader Devlet Bahçeli, the architect of the second opening process dubbed 'Terror-Free Turkey.' Müsavat Dervişoğlu was re-elected chairman after receiving all 1,180 valid votes.

Convention day at İYİ Party: Müsavat Dervişoğlu re-elected as chairman

The İYİ Party's 4th Ordinary Convention has begun at the Grand Ankara Congress Center. Incumbent leader Müsavat Dervişoğlu appeared before the delegates as the sole candidate for the chairmanship.

While it was noted that the party has held a total of 8 conventions to date, 5 of which were extraordinary, the slogan for this meeting was set as 'The time for the GOOD ones has come.' At the convention, attended by approximately 1,200 delegates, members of the General Administrative Board (GİK) and the Central Disciplinary Board (MDK) will also be determined by vote.

A new addition to the party will also take place at the convention. Independent Balıkesir MP Burak Dalgın will join the ranks of the İYİ Party during the meeting.

Meanwhile, it was reported that İYİ Party Founding Chair Meral Akşener, who had been invited to the convention, did not attend the meeting. Akşener's absence was one of the notable topics among the delegates and party members in the hall.

DERVİŞOĞLU'S SPEECH AT THE CONVENTION

Speaking at the convention, Dervişoğlu began his remarks by thanking Akşener.

Criticizing the government's foreign policy, Dervişoğlu stated, "Look at the Syrian PKK that they have nurtured and raised right under our noses for exactly 11 years. I say 11 years. They were trained, equipped, and gained militants during 11 of the 14 years of civil war. The government, meanwhile, not only failed to lift a finger but also made it its duty to obstruct potential counter-moves in the future. The result: It turns out there is a YPG in Syria, and they are actually PKK members. Imagine that. Oh Lord, what great strategic geniuses we have!"

"A REGIME OF BLOW AFTER BLOW TO THE MIDDLE CLASS"

"They have taken as many steps backward as possible from our 200-year democratic struggle. We were left without a republic, and the Republic was left without an owner," Dervişoğlu said. Regarding the economic crisis, he added, "We now know that this is not just a crisis; it is a regime of poverty and deprivation built upon organized corruption and a consciously managed economic policy! This is a regime of wealth transfer. This regime is one that deals blow after blow to our educated people and the middle class, who always give but never receive anything in return."

Highlights from Dervişoğlu's speech are as follows:

"Valuable members and delegates of our İYİ Party, you are here today as representatives of millions of our citizens, even if they are not physically present in this hall. In the seats you occupy right now, there are also the youth, the elderly, women, men, workers, farmers, tradespeople, and civil servants from your provinces, districts, and neighborhoods. Through you, I would like to take this opportunity to present my love and respect to our dear nation, which thinks, produces, works, and worries for this country."

Just as when you plant a seed or a sapling, your mind remains there! You come and go, checking to see if the wind has bent it. You worry and ask if the frost has hit it. You wonder if it has had enough water or if its roots have taken hold. Because that seed, that sapling, is both bread and sustenance. It is both labor and life. It is both your yesterday and your tomorrow.

You know that we, too, have a sapling that we planted together with you! That sapling has seen rains, blizzards, and storms, but it has always grown stronger and never lost its vitality. Over the past 8 years, that sapling has become the unconditional insurance of the Turkish nation and state. That sapling is now a great plane tree that is the hope of our tomorrows. That sapling is a desire for goodness, planted with effort and courage so that the country may be well. That sapling is the İYİ Party, the reason we proudly say 'we are here' under its roof today! At this point, I consider it a debt of gratitude to thank all our fellow travelers who contributed to the founding of the İYİ Party, especially our Founding Chairwoman, Ms. Meral Akşener, in your presence.

When I took over the duty you entrusted to me nearly two years ago, I said, 'I am not just taking over a position, but an ideal, a goal, and an impregnable fortress.' Today, in this hall, I thank God that I see once again how deep and rooted our faith, which is like a fortress, truly is! Now is the time to embrace the country from this fortress and to see the entire land as our homeland. It is time for the last hearth, the last fortress, to rise. We did not let the sapling we planted that day wither; it took root, we cared for it like the apple of our eye, and it grew. The time has come! It is the time for it to become a great tree. It is the time of the 'İYİ's (The Good)! It is time to embrace the country from this fortress and to see the entire land as our homeland. It is time for the last hearth, the last fortress, to rise.

"WE WERE FOUNDED TO PUT A STOP TO THIS BAD COURSE FOR THE TURKISH NATION"

We founded our İYİ Party at a threshold where justice and equality were being depleted in streams. We emerged as a national and republican reflex against arbitrariness, personalization, and authoritarianism. As the İYİ Party, we were founded by the Turkish nation, for the Turkish nation, to put a stop to this bad course. At the point we have reached, the world is in the grip of a dilemma of authoritarianism and arbitrariness. On one side, there are the events unfolding in Latin America, Russia, and the Far East! On the other side, there is the Middle East, where the bonds between nation and state have been eroded for 25 years and its balance has been disrupted by identity conflicts!

Because great imperial powers have created governments dependent on them by instilling legitimacy from the outside! They have made bloodshed commonplace through the hands of rampant and audacious murderers like Netanyahu! From Syria to Iraq, from Gaza to Iran, and of course to Turkey, imperialism is now committing crimes without feeling the need to hide on the path to becoming Iraq-like, Lebanon-like, or Gaza-like.

Because the accomplices of imperialism have left their countries fragile, lonely, and helpless with the commitments they made to come to power and the concessions they made to stay in power. For this cause, they have offered the freedoms, lives, and property of their citizens, and the wealth of their homelands, as a ransom to their masters.

"THE COMMISSIONER PROJECT CARRIED OUT WITH THE İMRALI ALLIANCE THEY ESTABLISHED IS THE SAME..."

There is no doubt that we have reached a new stage in this regard! However, the cost imposed on humanity by those who are leaving is as heavy as the uncertainty of those who are coming. It is under these circumstances and conditions that our IYI Party faces a much more critical threshold and a much more vital test in order to transform the reflexes of the great Turkish nation into consistent actions!

If you want to hear the voice of the vital mistakes the government has made at every critical threshold within its quarter-century of decay, look at their chorus-like reliance on the motto of 'days when unity and solidarity are needed most' every single time. Look at the results of the politics conducted under the guise of 'strengthening the internal front.' They wanted us to believe that they achieved different results by doing the same things, within the same agenda, with the same commitments and concessions, not once, not twice, but repeatedly. This was the first resolution process. These were their Syria policies. This was the disgrace that resulted in July 15. The brokerage project currently being carried out through the Imrali alliance they have formed is the same.

At the point we have reached, what has happened in foreign policy? They have always been at the forefront of the regional 'area clearing' conducted for Israel, while paying lip service to anti-Israel sentiment. Look at what has happened to the countries surrounding Israel today, look at the developments in the Mediterranean, and look at the alliances formed in the waters they once propagated as the 'Blue Homeland.' There is something worse. Look at the Syrian PKK, which they have nurtured and raised right under our noses for exactly 11 years. I say 11 years. They were trained, equipped, and gained militants during 11 of the 14 years of civil war. The government not only failed to lift a finger but also considered it a duty to prevent any potential counter-moves in the future. The result: It turns out there is a YPG in Syria, and they are actually PKK members. Imagine that. What great strategic geniuses we have, my God! What great statesmen we have!

"THERE IS NO LAW LEFT, THE JUDICIARY HAS BEEN INSTRUMENTALIZED; THE CONSTITUTION HAS BEEN REPEATEDLY SUSPENDED"

So, what has happened in our country in the meantime? Perhaps the question should be asked as 'what hasn't happened?' There is no law left. The judiciary has been instrumentalized. The Constitution has been repeatedly suspended. Institutions have collapsed. Politics has become impossible. At every threshold, another social group has been declared a terrorist. The economy has already been devastated. Unemployment has turned into fate. There is no water, forest, or coastline left that hasn't been handed over. Birth rates are at rock bottom, and our borders are like a sieve. We are losing our youth to drug, prostitution, and gambling gangs.

In the hands of cadres devoid of the consciousness of treating humans as human beings, the most basic freedoms and human rights have been trampled upon. Prisons have become meeting points for everyone, young and old, who reads and thinks. Reason and conscience, the soul of Turkey, have been crushed between the police baton and the hammer of the judiciary. They have taken as many steps backward as possible from our 200-year democratic struggle. We have been left without a republic, and the Republic has been left without an owner.

"THEY WOKE UP ONE MORNING AND SAID, LET'S PARDON THE PKK"

And one day, they woke up one morning and said, let's pardon the PKK. Öcalan is actually a good man. He is also the sole representative of the Kurds. Also, we just realized, but Israel might act with the PYD. Imagine that. Then, there is that definition of 'Turk' in the Constitution, the principles of Turkish-language education, the unitary state, and the Republic... You go ahead and debate these, and while we find ways to make our rule eternal, you stay occupied within this trap, they said.

In defiance of those who applaud, those who reach out, and those who whistle, we have said the same thing from day one. There is a Republic problem in this country because you have devastated it. There is a citizen equality problem in this country because you feed on discrimination rather than equality. There is a rule of law problem in this country because you have usurped the national will and imprisoned it in your palace.

You have bypassed the Grand Assembly. And none of this is independent of your agenda to 'Lebanonize' Turkey in terms of identity, 'Iraqize' it in administration, 'Latin Americanize' it in security, and 'Iranize' it in diplomacy. All of this is nothing more than your inability to suppress your rotten ideology, which has never outgrown its adolescent superstitions, and your decision to hold it hostage to imperialism along with your weaknesses and frailties.

For the IYI Party, it is impossible to remain silent, sit still, or be afraid while domestic and foreign developments target the Turkish nation and the Republic of Turkey. It is our primary responsibility to fulfill that duty, that first duty, entrusted to us by Gazi Mustafa Kemal a century ago. We will protect the integrity of the Republic and the nation, both intellectually and legally. Every price to be paid for this cause is our debt of honor.

"A REPUBLIC AS IT SHOULD BE"

But do not think that this is enough. This is an era where mere preservation is not sufficient. Our second duty is to carry what has been preserved beyond the level of contemporary civilization. That goal of contemporary civilization is not just an abstract direction. It is a matter of intent and mentality. We spoke of equality. We spoke of citizen equality. We said let us be a Republic worthy of its founder and its founding values. We wanted a Republic as it should be, a justice system where no one chases after favoritism, and an economy where citizens do not have to compromise their dignity in queues for stale products. And we told Kurds, Alevis, and all ethnic and religious identities that we should unite in citizenship, in the Republic.

We said we want a Turkey of honorable individuals, not of privileges or exemptions! Turkey is a great country. It will carry its freedom, its Republic, its democracy, its independence, and its human rights for itself, through its own efforts and its own light of civilization. We said equality is our name, freedom is our character, and the Republic is our oath. My brothers and sisters! When uncertainty, anxiety, and insecurity arise, people look for a place to take refuge, for their home, and most of all, for their family. The line extending from individuals to families, and from families to the nation, protects and strengthens itself only in this way. None of these are concepts to be sacrificed or chosen over another.

"THIS IS NOT JUST A CRISIS, BUT A CONSCIOUSLY MANAGED ECONOMIC POLICY"

This period, which the government has declared the 'Year of the Family,' is going down in history as a period of social catastrophe where our people cannot find jobs, are deprived of a roof over their heads, and cannot marry or start a family. Another link in the sociological catastrophe they have chained together is the incompetent migration strategy of an unqualified government that appears humanitarian but has a political agenda. We are coming to the most critical part of the failures of 25 years of decay, from which no lessons have been learned, and the negligence that surpasses them.

At this point, I will not talk to you about the economy. I will not raise exchange rates. I will not count numbers. Besides, there is no need for that! We all have learned and know, by experiencing it to our very bones, how a country's economy should not be, through the policies they deemed fit for us and condemned us to! We now know that this is not just a crisis; it is a regime of poverty and deprivation built upon organized corruption and a consciously managed economic policy! This is a wealth transfer regime. This regime is a blow after blow to our educated people and the middle class, who always give but never receive.

In the 'Build-Sell' governments, in the 'Build-Operate-Revive' projects, in our paradise homeland where they fill forests, seas, and streams with concrete, there is construction everywhere, but there is no house for a Turkish citizen to live in. Not in Istanbul, not in Antalya, not in Van. Not in Izmir, not in Batman. Erdoğan, who came to power with the 'tea and simit' calculation, no longer has anything to do with tea, simit, or the nation he has made destitute in a country where these have become luxuries! The fact that retirees stay in hostels or sleep in terminals and stations is no longer the government's concern!

"DURING THE TIME OF THE SO-CALLED MOST CONSERVATIVE GOVERNMENT IN HISTORY, THERE IS THE MOST INTENSE IMMORALITY IN HISTORY"

For a government that escapes even when an earthquake occurs by attributing its responsibilities to fate, they also dismiss the plight of retirees as destiny. The point reached after 25 years by the largest party of the Islamic political tradition, which emerged from anti-communism associations, has been to govern Turkey with a communist party bureaucracy.

In my country, where every morning one wakes up is a torment for the citizen, the only duty of these cadres, appointed after being stripped of merit, is to conduct conventional and social media communication by shifting the blame to others, and ultimately to the opposition and the nation. The end has come for these people who mock the nation's intelligence, for the will they take example and courage from, and for this corrupt era in which they have fed and fattened! The ballot box is near! The nation is determined! The 'IYIs' are ready for the duty to be assigned!

On one side are domestic and foreign gangs! On one side drugs, on one side prostitution, on the other illegal betting and gambling; there is no work, no housing! There is no public order on the streets or in traffic! There is no trust from the state in its nation, or from the nation in its state; the rights written in the constitution are not on the agenda of those responsible! There is no freedom, no law, no justice! And there is no sense of shame in the government! So what is there? During the time of the so-called most conservative government in history, there is the most intense immorality in history.

"OH MY NATION! YOU ARE NOT THE ONES WHO SHOULD BE ASHAMED"

This immorality has taken root not in bodies, but in the minds of incompetent rulers. There are those who see the public treasury as spoils and consider looting their right. For this reason, there is a systematic decay that draws in the individual, the family, the nation, and the state. You enter a market. You pick up a product. Then, you look at the price. Then... you quietly put it back. Yes, the shelves are full. The shelves are full because the nation cannot afford to buy. It is full with the most barren form of abundance. This is a shameful situation. Oh my nation! You are not the ones who should be ashamed. Those who should be ashamed are them. Ring in the ears of these shameless people every time so that it rings like a 'bell sound' in their ears.

Because that is the treatment they deserve. God forbid, when you head to those magnificent hospitals at the edge of the mountains, I'm not even talking about the cost of travel or gas. The thought of 'What will I do if they order an MRI?' crosses your mind; and even if you find someone to help you get the MRI, will I be able to afford the medication? You think about whether you will be able to see the test results and reach the 'doctor who has to see 100 patients in a single day.' Mothers with babies in incubators are worried about the 'newborn' gangs... You feel the baseness of a system where the perpetrator gets away with it so intensely that it takes your breath away! Your child is going to school. The shuttle, books, stationery... You calculate every single one. You say, 'I'll buy this later,' 'We'll make do with this,' 'It's not necessary for now.' And unintentionally, you postpone your entire future.

"EVERY HONEST PERSON IS A VICTIM OF THIS ECONOMY OF IMMORALITY"

Taxes are coming. Fees are coming. Fines are coming. It never ends. None of it ends. You pay double the money, double the price, and you bear the life you are exposed to and deemed worthy of. On top of that, every time you have a doubt or an objection, you are reminded of the reality that you are scolded by those who deem you worthy of this, and even accused of terrorism. Do not think that while the salaried employee experiences this, the tradesman, the SME owner, and the industrialist are all benefiting from the government and swimming in prosperity.

The employer who does not forget their morality and conscience in their scales, credit ledgers, and accounting records is in the same situation. While you worry about your rent, they worry about their insurance premiums. While you worry about your grocery shopping, they worry about their stock. While you pay off the gold debt you took from a close relative, they are worried about paying off their bank loan. Because every honest person is a victim of this economy of immorality. Sometimes it's the retiree, sometimes the civil servant, sometimes the worker, sometimes the tradesman; it makes no difference.

That is why what we are experiencing is not just an economic crisis. This is a life crisis. While you are calculating how to make ends meet, they are becoming more reckless, more daring, and more unaccountable! No one can dream of living well anymore. People are just trying to sustain their lives, not their well-being, in a mediocrity of 'I hope nothing else happens,' 'I hope no new expenses arise,' and 'I hope another crisis doesn't come.' They tell the nation that there is an economic crisis in the world and that this is the reason for our troubles. Turkey is already the leader in inflation; even Ukraine, which is at war, is doing better than us.

"THIS IS THE INFLATION OF IMMORALITY; ITS RESULT IS UNHAPPINESS!"

If there is a crisis in the world, why is there no inflation elsewhere? Let me tell you, this is the inflation of immorality; its result is unhappiness! If a person does not wish for happiness alongside health and peace, what do they aim for? And if a state, the Republic of Turkey, a state that made the motto 'How happy is the one who says I am a Turk' its citizenship slogan, does not aim for the happiness of its people, what does it aim for?

For God's sake, for example, just last week the government reduced the 'overseas online shopping limit,' which was 1,500 liras, to zero, claiming there is a foreign trade deficit with China. I ask these geniuses: didn't you sign a protocol with a Chinese company in 2024 to 'build an electric car factory in Manisa,' coinciding with the sales of 'TOGG'? Despite the contract signed two years ago, this Chinese company hasn't even driven a single nail. The direct loss of this is 1.5 billion DOLLARS! And the indirect loss is many times that! They are going to close the foreign trade deficit with China—the same China to which they allowed tax-exempt vehicle sales under the promise of opening a factory—by limiting overseas online shopping to 1,500 liras!

Phone cases, chargers, hair clips, headphones, cameras, microphones! They will turn the young people, whose faces light up when they buy these for 50 or 100 liras, into appetizers for the importers' table. What is the reason for this hostility of yours! What is it, what is it? External debt has increased by hundreds of billions of dollars during your term; we bought cars, one for you; we bought phones, one for you; we bought computers, one for you! But it is not enough. You still say, 'Do not expect everything from the state.' There are 40 types of taxes, some of them doubled; well, you are the one expecting everything from the nation! You have collected more than 3 trillion dollars in taxes. You privatized and sold off the Republic's assets. If it is not enough to give to the retirees, the minimum wage earners, and the civil servants, where did all this tax go, where did all these fees go? Where did the money extorted from millions of laborers go, to whom did it go?

"WE WILL UNCHAIN FREE ENTERPRISE"

We will stop this country from being one where people are told to 'just get by.' We will stop this country from being one that hides behind 'resignation.' We will stop this country from being one where people just say 'it is fate' and move on. We will make this country one where people can breathe without calculating, plan their future, and look at their children with hope. Rest assured that the economy is not just about money. The economy is human dignity. And in a place where human dignity is so trampled upon, we will not remain silent. Turkey will prepare for a mobilization of development with the IYI Party!

Resources entrusted to the public will be used in the most accurate and effective way; by managing all economic risks and focusing on high value-added, technology-driven production, the whole world will witness the entrepreneurship of the Turkish people. My promise to you! We will build a Turkey that lives affordably and with quality. We will unchain free enterprise. Our people who earn with the sweat of their brow will work in registered, secure, and safe jobs. Turkey will become a production and export hub. Anatolia will be known for its star cities.

Together, we will build a Turkey based on productivity and innovation that competes with the world. We will earn justly and share fairly. We will create a state capacity that is effectively and efficiently managed, with regard for income and wealth distribution. Our people will also be freed from anxiety. Social security and aid will be rescued from the vortex of a 'charity economy.' Citizens will receive their rights from their state, not charity, their rights!

"WE ARE COMING TO CHANGE THIS DISTORTED ORDER"

It is time to say this clearly from this podium: The problem in this country is not that the wrongs are unknown. The problem is that the right things are not done on purpose. Everyone in this country knows that this order is not working. This system is not functioning. Their only concern is to get by until every election eve. We are not coming to just get by. We are coming to change this distorted order. Let everyone hear this: This country's land is not barren, and its people are not lazy. This country is in this state because it is being mismanaged.

This nation is poor and angry not because it does not work, but because it cannot get the reward for its work. These young people are leaving not because they do not love their homeland, but because they cannot find a place for themselves in it. And we do not accept this. We will stop the state from being a toy for individuals. We will save the law from being a stick for the powerful. We will recognize labor as a right, not charity. We will stand with those who seek their rights, not those who obey. We will grow courage, not silence. In a country, there is no peace with inequality. There is no order with lawlessness. A democracy cannot be established without a Republic.

"THOSE WHO NORMALIZE THIS DECAY WILL GO"

Those who created this order will go. Those who normalize this decay will go. Those who tell this nation, 'you will endure,' will pack up and leave. My brothers and sisters, the individual is the first link in the chain that extends from the individual to the family, from the family to the nation, and from the nation to the state. The state provides security, the nation represents integrity, the family builds the roof, and the individual is the source of freedom. We are all the complement of those parts, the carriers of the whole. We are the insurance of integrity. Let it be known that a unity gained by separating and polarizing is merely a delusion.

Moreover, it is not a good-faith assumption, but a bad-faith one. When individuals drift apart, when the family dissolves, and when society is torn into pieces, strength does not emerge. What emerges is a tyranny that thinks itself strong. And there, the state is fragile; power is nothing more than a spectacle. What is essential is that national sovereignty has become vulnerable to threats. For this reason, while the honor and dignity of the nation are sacrificed to agendas with corrupt sources and intentions, the innocent are preferred over the guilty, and traitors over patriots. Every truth is being replaced by a falsehood.

"PUNISHMENTS GIVE STRENGTH TO THE WICKED, JUSTICE CAUSES ANXIETY FOR THE OPPRESSED"

While the tractor of a farmer with bank debt is seized, tax exemptions are granted to companies with billions of liras in tax debt. While our 19-year-old top-ranking lieutenant from the Military Academy is expelled from the army, those who have spent a lifetime as terrorists are being prepared for amnesty. While children who cry out for justice or send messages are arrested in the dead of night, criminals with 10, 15, or 20 criminal records roam the streets. Crimes give courage to criminals and fear to the innocent. Punishments give strength to the wicked, and justice causes anxiety for the oppressed.

They brandish a stick at those who criticize, while hosting mafias in VIP lounges. Let everyone know this: Tolerance for criticism is not a sign of weakness, but a sign of confidence. If tolerance has diminished, it means strength has also diminished. An order where criminals are protected means criminals are partners in power. And if there is an order where the nation is not a partner in power, then every kind of malignant partner becomes a part of the government. This is what the one-man system already means. This is our view of the system. We are not against individuals, but against the one-man regime. Names are just empty noise.

Our concern is not whether it should be bread-and-cheese or cheese-and-bread. Our problem is with the system. Our fight is a systemic struggle against the system. Our struggle is for a state of law against cronyism, and for the nation's freedom against the rights of a single man. That is why we defend the parliamentary system against this monstrosity called the Presidential Government System. History gives us the 'essence.' Balance is established there. Our history of democracy and two hundred years of experience show us this.

If you forget that essence, today becomes unbearable. If you get stuck in the present, the drifting never ends. A policy that keeps both feet on the ground increases the resilience of both the nation and the state. It is impossible to move forward otherwise. If you set up a seesaw between the nation and the state and place your power in the middle of it, you create a country that swings from one extreme to the other, like Turkey. Our objection is to this swinging. We must stop this swinging!

"TODAY IS THE LAST DAY TO LEAVE THE PAST IN THE PAST"

I must state this very clearly: Defeat cannot be sanctified as a moral truth. Defeat is not a virtue for easing one's conscience. The real loss begins with a mind that has resigned itself to defeat. A mind that has become ready for defeat can never be victorious. We have not surrendered to this mindset. Today is the last day to leave the past in the past.

Today is the first day of the future. It is no longer the day to be a dam, but to be the water itself. It is not the day to fear the wind, but to take root in the deepest part of the soil. It is the day to aspire to govern not with fear, but with courage; not with favors, but with rights; not with individuals, but with rules. It is the day of 'gladly' rather than 'if onlys.' I ask: Are you ready?

"THEY HAVE SOILED POLITICS SO MUCH THAT YOUR PURE CONSCIENCES NO LONGER TRUST IT"

I know you are tired... I know they have confused your minds... Everyone has become like everyone else... You say to yourselves that these politicians cannot be trusted, that they can do anything at any moment... This is what they want you to believe. Because they want to imprison you in hopelessness. I know; they have soiled politics so much that your pure consciences no longer trust it. Nepotism has run rampant, and parents do not see their children's future as secure. I know; our youth do not want to leave their country, but there is no one offering them a reason to stay...

I know; our retirees, civil servants, laborers, tradespeople, farmers, and the business world have been condemned to worrying about surviving today, let alone planning for the future. There is no glimmer of hope in this government. You are right in these feelings and thoughts. But know this; there are those who are not like them. This country has pure children, bright consciences, and people of high morality. Just as they stepped onto the stage in the most difficult times and pulled the country back from the edge of the abyss, today our noble nation has its own devoted patriots who step forward with the same faith and the same morality. My name is Müsavat. It means equality! I believe and know as much as my name that every one of my brothers and sisters is equal in the eyes of the state and before the law. This is not a favor, it is a right. It is a right that our Republic offers to each of us.

That is why life stories that began in a small village in Anatolia have been able to reach the Çankaya Presidential Palace. That is why those who started life in a remote corner of Anatolia have been able to win Nobel Prizes. What instills hope in each of us, and what instills trust in each of us and our country, is this equality of opportunity. My name is Müsavat. It means equality. And today I shout from here; enough is enough! The ruling elites cannot play with the feelings and future of the children of the great Turkish nation. This crooked order will be demolished. This wheel of nepotism will be broken. The time has come! This unjust regime will leave, never to return. The time has come for our youth to trust in Turkey... The time has come for our laborers to claim their rights...

"THOSE WHO CALL A TERRORIST 'SIR', THOSE WHO CALL HIM 'FOUNDING LEADER'..."

The time has come for our investors and employers to be freed from nightmare-filled nights! The time has come for our retirees to achieve a humane standard of living! The time has come for a safe country where our women can walk in the dark without fear! The time has come for a life where our silent friends are not slaughtered, but shared with! The time has come! This dirty order, which robs those who cannot cross the bridges, cannot stay in the hospitals, and cannot fly from the airports under the guise of guaranteed projects, will be dismantled and gone. The time has come!

While the nation's children cannot find jobs, the ruling elites who receive salaries from 3, 4, or 5 sources and live in luxury will disappear, never to return. The time has come! This shamelessness, which forces mothers and fathers to collect rotten fruits and vegetables at the market, will receive a heavy slap from our nation. The time has come! If expired products are being sold at a discount in clearance aisles, it means the expiration date of this government has long passed. Rest assured, they will be gone. The time has come! The game of those who market betrayal as survival and traitors as peace doves will be ruined. The time has come! Those who call a terrorist 'Mr.' or 'founding leader' will never be able to look the nation in the face again!

For those who plunder the national treasury and give nothing to the nation from whom they have taken everything, the time for reckoning has come! The era of those who worry about everything and everyone except the Turkish nation is ending; the time for the Turkish nation has come! Evil will be defeated because the time for the good has come! With the hope that our 4th Extraordinary Convention will be auspicious and a harbinger of our coming to power, I greet you all with love and respect, and entrust you to Almighty God. Thank you, be well, and may God protect you."
