With only a few days left until the New Year, an operation was launched targeting counterfeit alcohol manufacturers.
During the 'Çengel-13' operations, which have been ongoing for the last week across 81 provinces, 10,600 liters of counterfeit and ethyl alcohol were seized.
Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya announced that 37 suspects identified as producing counterfeit alcohol have been apprehended.
