Couple returning from their wedding die in accident in Kütahya

In the Emet district of Kütahya, a couple returning from their own wedding lost their lives as a result of a collision between two cars.

The car with license plate 07 AFU 428, driven by Göncek village imam Mustafa Özer (23), collided with the car with license plate 35 FU 930, driven by Fuat Aldemir, who was coming from the opposite direction on the 27th kilometer of the Tavşanlı-Emet highway.

Upon notification, health, fire, and gendarmerie teams were dispatched to the region.

The teams determined that the driver Mustafa and his wife Havva Nur Özer (22) had lost their lives at the scene of the accident.

The other vehicle driver, Aldemir, who was injured, was taken to the Tavşanlı Doç. Dr. Mustafa Kalemli State Hospital by 112 Emergency Health teams.

It was learned that the couple who lost their lives in the accident were returning from their own wedding held in Yataklı village, which is connected to the Tavşanlı district.
