Courier who killed driver with a screwdriver after an argument in Esenler has been caught

The incident occurred yesterday at around 21:00 on 301st Street in the Menderes neighborhood of Esenler. An argument broke out between a courier working at a doner kebab shop and a driver on the street due to a right-of-way dispute.

During the argument, the courier damaged the vehicle with a screwdriver and fled the scene.

The driver, having seen where the courier worked from the company name on the delivery box, went to the doner shop a short while later and began arguing with the courier.

The argument between the driver and the courier escalated into a fight, during which the courier struck the man with the screwdriver he was holding, leaving him severely injured, and fled the shop. The severely injured man was taken to the hospital by ambulance but lost his life despite all interventions.

Police teams launched an investigation into the matter.

As a result of the work carried out by police teams, the motorcycle courier, identified as A.A., was caught and taken into custody. It was determined during the suspect's interrogation that he had numerous records for various crimes, including "intentional injury," "negligent injury," and "motorcycle theft."

Following the completion of procedures at the police station, the suspect was referred to judicial authorities. Meanwhile, the moments of the fight between the driver and the courier were captured on security cameras.
