Critical appointments to universities and YÖK in the Official Gazette
The decision regarding appointments made by the Presidency has been published in the Official Gazette.
With the decision published under the signature of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, Presidential Secretary General Hakkı Susmaz, Prof. Dr. Mürteza Bedir, Prof. Dr. Kemal Şenocak, and Prof. Dr. İlhan İlkılıç were appointed as members of the Council of Higher Education (YÖK). Prof. Dr. Gülçin Yahya Kaçar was appointed as Rector of Ankara Music and Fine Arts University, Prof. Dr. Gül Rengin Küçükerdoğan as Rector of Hasan Kalyoncu University, Prof. Dr. Feriha Erfan Kuyumcu as Rector of İstanbul Gedik University, and Prof. Dr. Emre Alkin as Rector of İstanbul Topkapı University.
The decisions also included the appointments of Prof. Dr. Ahmet Kesik as Rector of Mudanya University, Prof. Dr. Güner Dağlı as Rector of Sanko University, Prof. Dr. Cemal Yıldız as Rector of the Turkish-German University, and Prof. Dr. Mehmet Bahçekapılı as Rector of Yalova University.
