Criticism from Bülent Turan regarding the IYI Party's 'Flag Rally': Why should we lose another 40 years?

The political repercussions of the rally, which the IYI Party held with the participation of thousands, continue. Deputy Minister of Interior Bülent Turan drew attention to the nationalist sentiments of the citizens who attended the rally and emphasized the years lost in the fight against terrorism.

Turan criticized the rally with the following words:

"Those of us holding a flag rally, our nation, and the people who took to the square with the nationalist sentiments of our country must also know that we lost 40 years. Why should we lose another 40 years?"

Messages of Unity and Reaction in Tandoğan

The "Flag Rally," organized under the leadership of the IYI Party at Tandoğan Square on June 27, brought thousands of citizens together. The crowd filling the square expressed their collective reaction against injustice, lawlessness, terrorism, and the new PKK resolution process.

While demands for social peace and security came to the fore in the messages delivered at the rally site, the personal expectations and concerns of the citizens were also reflected in the microphones.
