Cübbeli Ahmet's 'nonsense' comment on Göbeklitepe

While Göbeklitepe and the Taş Tepeler, located in Şanlıurfa and responsible for rewriting world history, continue to attract great global interest, remarks made by Ahmet Mahmut Ünlü, known to the public as "Cübbeli Ahmet," during a talk in Bursa have resurfaced. In the debate sparked by the resurfacing of footage from a speech he reportedly gave last month, Ünlü mocked the scientifically proven age of Göbeklitepe, stating:

"They are convincing people, too. They found some hill in Şanlıurfa. Okay, it's very beautiful, very old. 'How many years do you think?', 'I think 100 thousand'... 'You think', anything goes... '200 thousand'... 'You think', '1 million years', oh come on... It's not 1 million years, not 100 thousand years, 10 thousand years ago neither Urfa nor Harran existed. Adam (peace be upon him) did not exist. Who built a house in Urfa when Adam (peace be upon him) didn't exist? Excuse me, let's not use foul language."

However, scientific data and carbon dating clearly demonstrate the massive importance of Göbeklitepe for human history, contrary to Ünlü's claims:

With a history dating back approximately 12,000 years (to 10,000 B.C.), Göbeklitepe stands as the oldest and largest known monumental structure of the human journey. It is 7,000 years older than Stonehenge in England and 7,500 years older than the Egyptian pyramids.

This unique site, which is on the UNESCO World Heritage List, has rewritten history books by proving that hunter-gatherer communities were capable of building such monumental and complex structures before they transitioned to agriculture and fully adapted to a settled life. While the understanding of "first agriculture and settled life, then religion" previously prevailed, Göbeklitepe revealed the reality of "first temple and belief, gathering around it, and then settled life."

The T-shaped pillars weighing dozens of tons, featuring skillfully carved stylized animal reliefs (fox, wild boar, snake, crane) and abstract symbols, prove to the whole world with scientific data that the people of that era possessed both a rich world of belief and an advanced social organizational ability to transport and erect massive stones.
