Cübbeli and Bayancuk's 'oath' debate continues on social media: 'Am I supposed to defend your slogan?'
Cübbeli Ahmet, who reacted to an oath recited by students, and Halis Bayancuk, the figure behind the oath, exchanged barbs via their social media accounts.
Footage recorded at the Necip Fazıl Kısakürek Imam Hatip Secondary School in Istanbul's Arnavutköy district has sparked public debate. Ahmet Mahmut Ünlü, known publicly as "Cübbeli Ahmet," made assessments regarding the oath recited by the students.
Ahmet Mahmut Ünlü, known publicly as "Cübbeli Ahmet," stated that the oath recited by students at the Necip Fazıl Kısakürek Imam Hatip Secondary School in Arnavutköy reflects the ideology of the terrorist organization ISIS and constitutes an open provocation against the state. Ünlü reacted to the situation by alleging that the oath in question was written by Halis Bayancuk.
"ISIS JARGON"
Ünlü argued that the emphasis on "shirk" (polytheism) in the text belongs to ISIS rhetoric targeting the Republic of Turkey. He stated that the oath recited at the school reflects the ideology of the terrorist organization ISIS and constitutes an open provocation against the state.
Claiming that the person behind the oath is Halis Bayancuk, known publicly as "Ebu Hanzala," Ünlü characterized the events as a show of strength through the formation of a religious community.
BAYANCUK AND CÜBBELİ DEBATED VIA SOCIAL MEDIA ACCOUNTS
Halis Bayancuk reacted to Cübbeli's statements criticizing him via his social media account. Cübbeli's response to Bayancuk was not delayed.
Here are those messages between the two:
BAYANCUK:
What is it other than being disgraced by Allah (cc) in the twilight of his life for a person to go on screens during the month of Ramadan and be bothered by what bothers Kemalists and secularists?
Like his hypocrite brothers, he too falls into the trap of the fitna of Kemalists and secularists once or twice every year.
"Do they not see that they are tested (by Allah) once or twice every year, (yet) they do not repent and do not take heed?" (9/At-Tawbah, 126)
Let us say this to the Kemalist Preacher, who is the voluntary spare tire of the secularists:
"If they turn away, say: 'Allah is sufficient for me. There is no god (worthy of worship) except Him. In Him I have placed my trust. He is the Lord of the Great Throne.'" (9/At-Tawbah, 129)
Praise be to Allah, who gave you the opportunity to be enraged alongside the enemies of Islam.

CÜBBELİ:
You will call those who visit shrines polytheists, you will say it is haram to go to military service, you will say it is not permissible to visit your friend in the military, you will eat the bread of this homeland, you will commit treason against its soil, and I am supposed to defend your slogan!
What does this have to do with pleasing Kemalists and secularists?!
