Cyberattack on beauty center: Data of 83 thousand people stolen
In a cyberattack carried out against a beauty center, the identity, health, and payment information of more than 83 thousand people were seized. The investigation into the breach, announced by the KVKK, is ongoing.
The Personal Data Protection Authority (KVKK) has announced that the personal data of 83 thousand 70 people was stolen as a result of a cyberattack targeting Bellapais El Ayak Bakımı ve Güzellik Salonu, which operates in Turkey.
According to the statement by the KVKK, the affected data includes sensitive information such as individuals' names, surnames, Turkish ID numbers, dates of birth, addresses, phone numbers, health information, and payment details. It was stated that employees, users, and both current and potential customers were affected by the attack.

Following the notification to the relevant institutions regarding the breach, which was detected on April 3, 2025, the KVKK stated that the investigation into the matter is continuing and that developments will be shared with the public.
Authorities informed that citizens whose personal data has been affected can contact the company via its call center or social media accounts to obtain information.
