"Daltonlar" operation in Antalya: CHP Provincial Vice President in custody
In an operation targeting a criminal organization linked to workplace shootings, 7 people, including CHP Antalya Provincial Vice President A.A., have been taken into custody.
Under the coordination of the Antalya Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, teams from the Anti-Smuggling and Organized Crime Branch launched an operation against the criminal organization known as the "Daltons" following workplace shooting incidents in Muratpaşa. A large number of suspects were taken into custody during the operation.
WEAPONS AND DRUGS FOUND IN VILLA
It was determined that A.P. (19), A.A. (18), and B.B., identified as the perpetrators of the shooting incidents, were staying in a villa in the Döşemealtı district. During the raid on the villa, A.P. and A.A. were apprehended, while B.B. could not be found. During the operation, 2 unlicensed pistols, 139 cartridges, and 7 grams of narcotics were seized.
CONFESSIONS REVEALED CONNECTIONS
It was learned that in the statements provided by the detained pirate taxi driver K.B.K., he confessed to taking A.P. to the shooting incident and shooting at another workplace. The unlicensed pistols used in the incidents were also seized by the police.
CHP ANTALYA PROVINCIAL VICE PRESIDENT IN CUSTODY
As the investigation deepened, real estate agent S.D., who rented the villa to the suspects, and CHP Antalya Provincial Vice President A.A., who is alleged to have provided vehicles and weapons, were also taken into custody. During a search of A.A.'s home, 100 pistol cartridges were seized. In the same operation, 21 pistol cartridges were found in the home of a suspect named Y.Y.
ORGANIZATION LEADER SOUGHT
It was reported that efforts are ongoing to apprehend the organization's leader, O.Ş., who is alleged to have coordinated the criminal activities in Antalya.
