Date set: DEM to meet with terrorist leader Öcalan following Erdoğan summit
It has been learned that the DEM Party Imralı Delegation will visit the leader of the terrorist organization PKK, Abdullah Öcalan, on November 3.
As the commission established in the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM) continues its work within the scope of the new resolution process dubbed "Turkey Without Terrorism," the DEM Party Imralı Delegation visited AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan at the Presidential Palace on October 30.
In the statement issued following the meeting, it was noted: "During the meeting, we conducted comprehensive evaluations regarding the stage reached in the Peace and Democratic Society Process and the steps that need to be taken moving forward. We are pleased to state that we are in mutual understanding and agreement on taking steps that will ensure the process moves forward more quickly and healthily."
It has been announced that the delegation that met with Erdoğan will visit terrorist leader Abdullah Öcalan on November 3. The delegation will include Deputy Speaker of the TBMM and Van MP Pervin Buldan, DEM Party Şanlıurfa MP Mithat Sancar, and Asrın Law Office lawyer Faik Özgür Erol.
