Daughters Derin and Deren's test results came back positive; Samyeli rebels: 'The state's fight is a question mark'
Defne Samyeli shared information regarding the results of drug tests conducted during a drug operation targeting celebrities. Samyeli stated that they would have the tests repeated after her daughters' results came back positive.
Derin and Deren Talu, who were taken from their homes in the morning as part of a drug operation targeting famous figures, underwent drug testing during the day and were subsequently released.
Days after this operation, the results of the drug tests were announced. Following the news that her daughters Derin and Deren Talu's drug test results were positive, Defne Samyeli made a statement via her social media account.
Stating that she does not trust the test results and criticizing the government's drug policy, Defne Samyeli used the following expressions in her post:
"I am someone who advocates for the banning of not only drugs but even cigarettes.
The effectiveness of the state's fight against the trade, distribution, and prevalence of drugs is already a huge question mark. How these individuals, who were taken into custody in a rush, were identified, and what kind of reports were filed against them, have not even been disclosed to them or to us, their families.
Because there is a 'confidentiality' order on the file. Furthermore, we are learning about these controversial test results from the press. We do not trust this operation, nor do we trust the results of the Council of Forensic Medicine.
We will have these tests repeated for my children at an independent specialist hospital."
