Deadline set for old-style driver's licenses: They will become invalid!
Officials from the Directorate of Population and Citizenship Affairs have issued a warning to citizens using old-style driver's licenses.
The validity period for old-style driver's licenses will expire on December 31, 2024.
Driver's licenses issued before 2016 will no longer be valid after December 31, 2024. Old-style licenses that are not renewed by this date will become invalid.
To renew their licenses, citizens can make an appointment via Alo 199, e-Devlet, or https://randevu.nvi.gov.tr/ to submit the necessary documents.
Officials from the Edirne Directorate of Population and Citizenship Affairs warned citizens not to leave their applications until the final months of the year, advising them to apply early to avoid potential issues caused by high demand.
