Death toll from cholera outbreak in Sudan rises to 335
The Sudanese Ministry of Health announced that the number of people who have died due to the cholera outbreak has risen to 335.
In a statement issued by the Sudanese Ministry of Health, it was reported that the number of cholera cases in the country has risen to 10 thousand 567.
The statement indicated that the number of deaths from cholera has reached 335.
Rains and floods that have been effective in Sudan since June have led to the spread of cholera. Sudanese authorities declared cholera an epidemic on August 12.
In Sudan, where the war continues and the health system is not functioning effectively, the spread of epidemic diseases makes life even more difficult.
