Debt dispute turns into a street brawl in Aksaray: Police forced to fire warning shots

In the Sultanhanı district of Aksaray, a debt dispute turned the area into a battlefield.

According to the information obtained, an argument broke out between two groups—one consisting of individuals identified as B.A., H.A., and E.A., and the other consisting of M.A., U.A., and A.A.—due to a debt issue. As the argument escalated into a fight, relatives of both sides joined the fray.

While the stone-and-club fight between the parties was captured on a citizen's mobile phone camera, police teams intervened against the group, who were attacking each other viciously. The police teams, attempting to break up the fight, fired shots into the air due to the large number of people involved.

The parties, ignoring the police who fired multiple warning shots into the air, continued to fight, and the moments when the police were caught between the two groups were also captured on camera. In the incident, where a large number of police officers intervened, 4 people were injured in various parts of their bodies, with one in critical condition.

While the injured were taken to the hospital by ambulances, it was learned that one person is in critical condition. An investigation has been launched by the Aksaray Chief Public Prosecutor's Office regarding the incident, which is being examined by the police.
