Within the scope of the investigation, a decision of non-prosecution was issued regarding the famous footballer İsmail Yüksek for the alleged crimes of "violation of Law No. 6222" and "fraud."
NO ALLEGATION OF INTERFERENCE WITH MATCH OUTCOME
In the justification for the prosecutor's decision, it was stated that there was insufficient evidence to suggest that Yüksek had placed bets that would directly or indirectly influence the course of a match. During the examinations, no data was obtained indicating that the footballer had placed any coupons on legal betting sites.
The Chief Public Prosecutor's Office stated that the allegations of betting and fraud brought against Yüksek were not based on sufficient evidence. In light of the data obtained, the prosecutor's office issued a decision of non-prosecution as there was no concrete evidence regarding the accusations in question.
