The decision on the selection of members for the parliamentary research commission, established to prevent women from being subjected to all forms of violence and discrimination, to review existing regulations in this area, and to determine additional measures that need to be taken, has been published in the Official Gazette.
With the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM) decision published in the Official Gazette, members were selected for the parliamentary research commission established to prevent violence and discrimination against women.
According to the decision, Istanbul AKP Deputy Mustafa Hulki Cevizoğlu was elected as Chair, Ankara AKP Deputy Asuman Erdoğan as Deputy Chair, AKP Istanbul Deputy Müşerref Pervin Tuba Durgut as Spokesperson, and Kahramanmaraş MHP Deputy Zuhal Karakoç Dora as Secretary. The commission will consist of a total of 21 members.
