Decision reached on Fatih Ürek's estate

Following Fatih Ürek's passing in January, various rumors regarding the artist's wealth had surfaced in the public eye. Speaking on behalf of the family, his sister Selvi Ürek clarified the claims and shared clear information regarding her brother's estate.

Selvi Ürek stated that the late artist's belongings, including his clothes, shoes, and furs, would be evaluated and that all proceeds from their sale would be directed toward a social cause. Emphasizing that Fatih Ürek's will would be carried out exactly as intended, she said, "We will sell his furs, we will sell his shoes. We will sell everything and donate it to education."

His sister addressed the various unfounded reports that had circulated regarding his assets and valuable items before the artist passed away. She rejected the theft allegations, stating, "Unfounded news came out while he was still sick. Reports appeared saying 'jewelry, furs, houses, and money were stolen,' but there is no such thing. He had jewelry; some of it was sold. We kept some of it as keepsakes."

Noting that Fatih Ürek had made significant investments in clothing and accessories, Selvi Ürek said, "He has shoes and clothes, all of which are valuable items. He invested money in clothing. We will sell them all."

Addressing claims that the artist had debts, Ürek explained that her brother did not have a large amount of savings, stating, "He didn't have that much in savings. He only had life insurance policies. He had debts, credit cards, and advances. Of course, when he got sick, we had to return those advances. His own resources paid off the debts."

Responding to questions regarding the sale of the luxury house in Bodrum, Selvi Ürek said, "Inheritance is a right," expressing that the distribution of the estate would be carried out in accordance with the law.
