Decision regarding Hande Erçel, who was detained in a drug investigation

Actress Hande Erçel, who had an arrest warrant issued against her as part of a drug investigation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, was detained by police teams while returning to Turkey from abroad. Acting on the instructions of the investigation, security forces detained the artist at the airport and took her to the Istanbul Courthouse.

It was stated that an arrest warrant was issued for Erçel while she was abroad as part of an operation involving a total of 16 people. The detention procedure was carried out upon the famous actress's arrival in Istanbul.

Giving her statement at the prosecutor's office, Hande Erçel categorically denied the allegations circulating in the public sphere that she "used drugs." As part of the investigation process, hair and blood samples were taken from Erçel at the Council of Forensic Medicine.

Following the completion of her procedures at the courthouse, Hande Erçel was released.
