Decision to extend Parliament's working calendar published in the Official Gazette
The working calendar of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, which was scheduled to close on July 1 according to parliamentary bylaws, has been extended. The decision taken by the General Assembly of Parliament has been published in the Official Gazette.
The decision regarding the extension of the working period of the TBMM, published in the Official Gazette, stated: "In accordance with Article 93 of the Constitution and Article 5 of the Rules of Procedure of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, it was decided at the 102nd session of the General Assembly on 16.06.2026 that the TBMM, which was scheduled to enter recess on July 1, 2026, shall not enter recess and shall continue its work."
