Temel continued his post by saying: "How can one engage in politics without knowing Demirtaş's thoughts and without grasping that his freedom is actually not independent of the resolution of the Kurdish issue? As for Halk TV; by what journalistic standard and ethics should we evaluate this immoral language it uses!"

The news regarding Öcalan was shared on the Halk TV X account with the headline: "'Let's talk about Demirtaş returning home' A clear message from Özgür Özel in the Demirtaş and Öc*lan debate!" Reacting to this post by Halk TV, Tayip Temel said, "This is not journalism, it's hit-jobbing."

Tayip Temel used the following expressions in his social media post:

"This is not journalism, it's hit-jobbing.... Aside from the opposition approaching an issue so shallowly, narrowly, and far from the truth, there is also the mentality of the media under its influence that practically encourages insults and profanity...

While those who have been deprived of all legal rights for years, like Öcalan, are not spoken of, what can a politics that prefers to view resolution debates, the cessation of war, and efforts for peace through the framework of a 'home debate' actually solve?

How can one engage in politics without knowing Demirtaş's thoughts and without grasping that his freedom is actually not independent of the resolution of the Kurdish issue?

As for Halk TV; by what journalistic standard and ethics should we evaluate this immoral language it uses! It's a shame"
